Writing a novel is a fractal journey.
Fractals are self-same formations. Pieces resemble the whole–for example, the branches of a tree look like little trees.
In writing, letters make words make sentences make paragraphs make scenes make chapters make a book. But it’s letters all the way down.
A post is coming soon about how I connect fractals to my writing process and also how they appear in the story itself.
In the meantime, dive into fractal worlds with this gorgeous video by BIB.
Fractals. Ponder them. They’re everywhere.
